THE THIRD EDITION OF SHABLA KITE FESTIVAL ENCHANTED THE VISITORS
24.09.2013Over the weekend of 21 and 22 September the skies over the "The Small Sea" near Shabla Lighthouse were filled with fantastic creatures - flying fish, octopus, dragons, giant silk teddy bears and of course, red-breasted geese . This colorful display was the work of kite flying masters from three Black Sea countries - Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria. 13.06.2013The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) starts a pilot agri-environmental program (PAEP) to encourage farmers from the region of Shabla and Durankulak to implement agricultural practices associated with the better protection of the wintering population of the globally threatened Red-breasted Goose.
