The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds is already an honorary member of the school clubs “Young Environmentalist” and Young Ecologist” in “Hristo Smirnenski” Primary School – Dobrich. During their school visit to the project sites of the BSPB project for conservation of the wintering population of the Red-breasted goose, the children were very impressed by the wonderful world of the birds and they even wrote two short poems dedicated to the key species.
With their big hearts, they highly appreciated the treasure of the area – the local nature and they took the responsibility to assist the project team in the important task of their protection. The children are impatient to see the geese back again next winter, even more numerous.
